- In a large deep skillet cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain and return to pan.
- Stir in cheese and ketchup. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook and stir 5 to 10 minutes or just until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spoon mixture onto hamburger buns. Serve warm.
