Grilled Cheese 3 Ways

Ingredients

  • GOUDA & APPLE GRILLED CHEESE:
  • 2 slices Rye bread
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 slices Sargento® Sliced Gouda Cheese
  • 4 tsp. Cranberry chutney
  • 4-6 Thinly cut apple slices
  • GRILLED HAM & CHEESE:
  • 2 slices Multi grain bread
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or margarine, softened
  • 4 tsp. Spicy brown or Dijon mustard
  • 2 slices Sargento® Sliced Mild Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 slices (1 oz. each) Honey baked ham
  • GARLIC & HERB GRILLED CHEESE:
  • 2 slices French bread
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 slices Sargento® Sliced Garlic & Herb Jack Cheese
  • 4-6 Thinly cut avocado slices
  • 3 slices Cooked bacon

Directions

  1. Gouda & Apple Grilled Cheese: Heat a large skillet or a large nonstick skillet over medium low heat. Spread butter evenly over one side of each bread slice. Place 1 slice of bread, buttered side down, on griddle or in skillet. Layer cheese, cranberry chutney and apple slices over bread; top with remaining bread, buttered side up. Cook 3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  2. Grilled Han & Cheese: Heat a large skillet or a large nonstick skillet over medium low heat. Spread butter evenly over one side of each bread slice. Place 1 slice of bread, buttered side down, on griddle or in skillet. Layer mustard, cheese and ham over bread; top with remaining bread, buttered side up. Cook 3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  3. Garlic & Herb Grilled Cheese: Heat a large skillet or a large nonstick skillet over medium low heat. Spread butter evenly over one side of each bread slice. Place 1 slice of bread, buttered side down, on griddle or in skillet. Layer cheese, avocado and bacon over bread; top with remaining bread, buttered side up. Cook 3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
