Orange and Honey Glazed Shrimp Tacos with Lime Ranch Slaw

  • 4 – 6 inch flour tortillas
  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and thawed with tails removed (whatever kind you are featuring)
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 2 Tablespoons of honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon chipotle seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon EVOO
  • 12 oz. raw veggie slaw
  • 1/2 cup prepared Ranch dressing
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh chopped Cilantro
  • 1/4 diced red onion
  • Extra limes and cilantro for garnish


  1. Preheat a large sauté pan over medium high heat and add the EVOO.
  2. Add the shrimp, orange juice, honey and chipotle seasoning.
  3. Cook until shrimp is firm and cooked through… about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Set shrimp aside.
  5. In a medium mixing bowl combine the veggie slaw, Ranch dressing , lime juice and Cilantro and mix.
  6. Season as desired with salt and pepper.
  7. Evenly distribute slaw mix between the 4 tortillas and top with the cooked shrimp.
  8. Garnish with the red onion, fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice.
