Vaccine Availability

Updated COVID-19 vaccine is available at all pharmacy locations for persons aged 5 years and older. To confirm a dose is available for a person aged 5 – 11 years, please contact your pharmacy.

All COVID-19 vaccine doses are administered according to current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations.

Regardless of your previous COVID-19 vaccine history, the CDC recommends most people receive a single dose of the updated COVID-19 vaccine.

If you are moderately or severely immunocompromised, it may be recommended to receive additional doses of the updated COVID-19 vaccine.

Please note that dependent on your state of residence, applicable state law(s) and/or Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations may affect the age eligible for pharmacy-based vaccination.

Our Pharmacy Immunizers administer the COVID-19 vaccine in accordance with current CDC/ACIP recommendations. Most persons are eligible to receive a single dose of the updated COVID-19 vaccine. However, COVID-19 vaccine recommendations may vary person to person depending on your age, your immune status, and the time since your last COVID-19 vaccine dose. Your pharmacist can help answer this question. Just ask!

Stay Up to Date with COVID-19 Vaccines

Our Pharmacy Immunizers can immunize all persons 5 years of age and older in accordance with current CDC/ACIP recommendations. Please note that dependent on your state of residence, applicable state law(s) and/or Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations may affect the age eligible for pharmacy-based vaccination

Most insurance plans are covering the updated COVID-19 vaccine, no co-payment necessary. Our Pharmacy team will always inform you of a co-payment and/or cost, if applicable, PRIOR to vaccine administration.

While some people may experience no side effects, others have reported headache, fatigue, and soreness in the arm where you receive the vaccination. Other side effects may include muscle pain, chills, fever, and nausea.

Should you experience side effects, most go away after a few days. If you have side effects that last longer than two days, please contact your pharmacist and/or provider for further guidance.

If you experience a severe allergic reaction, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital.

Your pharmacist will review any history of allergic reactions, to any medications and previous vaccinations, with you PRIOR to administering the vaccine.

If you are sick or not feeling well on the day you plan to receive your immunization, please come see us another day. Please do not come to the pharmacy or clinic site if you are sick or not feeling well.

While performing your vaccination, our Pharmacy Immunizer will be wearing a mask that covers both their nose and mouth. We may ask that you do the same. If you do not have an appropriate face mask, one will be provided to you at the pharmacy or clinic site.
