- In a medium bowl combine berries, powdered sugar, 2 teaspoons of the orange peel plus orange juice and nutmeg; toss lightly. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine sour cream, brown sugar and remaining 1 teaspoon orange peel; mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes (can be made up to 1 day in advance).
- To serve, spoon berries into individual dessert bowls or (if desired) on cake slices on individual dessert plates. Top with sour cream topping, and serve.
