Whipped Cottage Cheese Herb Spread

  • 16 oz. Deans Country Fresh cottage cheese
  • 2 tbsp. Shallots, minced
  • 3 tbsp. Chives, minced, divided
  • 1 tbsp. Tarragon, minced
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Add cottage cheese to a food processor, and pulse a few times until the curds smooth out.
  2. Chop shallots, 2 tbsp. chives, and tarragon. Add to a small mixing bowl.
  3. Combine whipped cottage cheese to your chopped mixture. Add olive oil, as well as salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve with your favorite bread or crackers. Garnish with remaining chives and enjoy.
Optional Step: Place spread in refrigerator for at least one hour before serving. This allows for those savory flavors to mend together, it's definitely worth the wait!
