- Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl combine beef, breadcrumbs and eggs. Stir in 1 can of the tomato sauce and dried onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pat beef mixture into a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Bake, uncovered, 50 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer reaches 160°F.
- Meanwhile, for the sauce, in a small saucepan combine remaining 1 can tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and mustard; bring to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Remove meatloaf from oven; pour sauce on top. Bake, uncovered, 10 minutes more. Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes before serving.
