Grilled Flank Steak Fajitas

A spicy marinade sets the flavor stage for an authentic tasting Mexican grill out!

  • 1 lb. beef flank steak
  • 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. Chili powder
  • 2 bell pepper, red and yellow, sliced thin
  • 1 onion, sliced thin
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 10 soft flour tortillas
  • 1 lime juiced

  1. Marinate the steak in a zippered plastic bag with the oil, cayenne pepper, lime juice, chili powder, and salt. Overnight is ideal, but if you’re short on time one hour will do.
  2. On a hot grill, cook the steak until desired temperature.
  3. Let rest. In a sauté pan, pan fry the peppers and onions with garlic for serving with the steak.
  4. Layer tortillas over the finished peppers and onions to warm them before serving.
